Job summary

Amedisys is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to join our home health team across the Southeast Valley territory (Tempe, Mesa, Apache Junction, Gilbert, Chandler, Ahwatukee, Maricopa, Sun Lakes, Queen Creek, San Tan Valley and Casa Grande). This PRN or part-time role offers a flexible schedule and home visits in patients' homes.

Compensation ranges from $56.00 to $67.00 per hour, depending on home health experience.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to that state you are assigned to work.
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and a clinical practicum at an accredited program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and AAC support for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
