Job summary
Aveanna Healthcare’s Home Health team seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time weekend shifts. Provide one-on-one in-home nursing care, assessments, and care planning to promote recovery, safety, and independence.
You’ll educate patients and families, coordinate with physicians and the care team, document accurately, and help reduce hospitalizations. Requires active RN license in Alabama, CPR, reliable transportation, and 1 year of clinical experience.
Qualifications
- Active RN license in state of practice (Alabama).
- Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- CPR certification or ability to obtain.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one in-home nursing care to promote recovery and independence.
- Conduct in-home assessments and translate findings into care plans.
- Provide wound care, infusions, catheter care, meds management as applicable.
- Educate patients and caregivers on symptoms, meds, and daily care.
- Monitor progress, communicate with care team to adjust plans.
- Coordinate across providers to ensure continuity of care.
- Complete timely, accurate documentation for quality and compliance.
