Job summary

Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Retirement Inc. seeks a Quality Assurance professional to support the Home Health Division with ongoing monitoring, auditing, education, and performance improvement to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care.

You will review clinical documentation, ensure accurate ICD-10 coding, and sign off on plans of care while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to promote patient safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Ohio.
• Home health experience preferred.
• ICD-10 coding experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicare home health regulations (OASIS, care planning).

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical documentation reviews for accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Review start of care, resumption of care, recertification, discharge and other key documents for quality and compliance.
• Review and sign off on plans of care to ensure accuracy and alignment with physician orders.
• Support QAPI activities, performance improvement projects, and audit tracking.
