Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's MS HomeCare (a part of the Optum family) seeks a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care in patients' homes across Mississippi. The RN will coordinate total care plans with physicians and health professionals, supervise home health staff, and ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care.

Requirements include an active RN license in the state, a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle, and 1+ years of home health experience.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• 1+ years of Home Health experience
• Ability to work independently
• Solid communication, writing, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Initiates, develops, implements, and revises the plan of care in collaboration with the physician and other health care professionals.
• Supervises care provided by home health staff and coordinates with the health care team.
• Provides supervisory visits and ensures quality nursing care in the home setting.
• Completes assessments (OASIS) and documents visits per policy and payer requirements.
• Coordinates with physicians and family to maintain continuity of patient care.
