Job summary

Amedisys, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate and oversee home care for patients in their homes. You will work with care teams to develop plans and educate families on patient needs and safety.

Qualifications

One year of clinical RN experience preferred.
Current RN license in Florida.
Minimum six months home health experience.
Current CPR certification.
Valid driver’s license and liability insurance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee all aspects of patients' home care.
Collaborate with patient care teams to develop and implement care plans.
Educate families on patient condition, needs and care.
Perform head-to-toe physical assessments.
Check vital signs and manage medications.
Give injections, IV therapy or tube feedings.
Administer and maintain catheters.
Complete documentation timely and accurately.
Supervise LPNs and HHAs.
Regularly communicate patient progress to the clinical manager, physician and care team.
Other duties as assigned.
