Maxim Healthcare is hiring Registered Nurses to work in Peoria and nearby areas, providing in-home care to pediatric and/or adult patients. Positions include day shifts and overnights, with competitive pay and weekly paychecks.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, initiating and adapting care plans, administering medications, and documenting patient progress. Requirements include an active RN license, BLS, health certificate, and preferred one year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state where you practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Initiates the plan of care and revises as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews care plans and identifies education, coordination and discharge needs.
