Job summary

Optum's Alabama HomeCare of Oneonta unit is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse for Jefferson County to provide and direct nursing care in patients' homes as prescribed by the physician and in compliance with laws and agency policies.

The RN will coordinate the overall plan of care with clinicians, supervise home health staff, and perform OASIS assessments, documentation, and care coordination to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted RN licensure in Alabama.
• Current CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• 1+ year of Home Health experience.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and revise the plan of care with the physician and health care team.
• Supervise home health aides and other nurses; provide instruction and assign tasks.
• Perform required supervisory visits and ensure compliance with regulations.
