Job summary

Riverside Home Health and Hospice – Accomac, Virginia, is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to provide intermittent visiting nursing care under supervision of the Nurse Manager and Director. The role emphasizes assessment, care planning, patient education, and coordination with a multidisciplinary team in a home health setting.

The RN will perform OASIS assessments as needed, supervise LPN/LVN and Home Health Aides, ensure accurate documentation, and support discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Active Virginia RN license required.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred; ADN acceptable with demonstrated competence.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients on an intermittent visiting basis.
• Develop initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments including OASIS when appropriate.
• Supervise and delegate non-professional staff to ensure optimum patient care.
• Complete all required clinical documentation per RHS standards and timely billing.
