Job summary

Anew Home Health in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time and PRN hours on the southeast side. The RN will provide patient care using the nursing process and coordinate home health services within patients' homes and communities.

Requirements include RN licensure in Indiana, 1 year home health experience preferred, and strong communication, problem-solving, and math skills. Competitive wages and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure in the state in which services will be provided.
• One (1) year of home health care experience preferred.
• One-year supervisory/management experience with direct care staff preferred.
• Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, basic math skills; nursing skills per competency checklist.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The registered nurse plans, organizes and directs home care services and is experienced in nursing, with emphasis on community health education/experience. The professional nurse builds from the resources of the community to plan and direct services to meet the needs of individuals and families within their homes and communities.

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with RN licensure in the state in which services will be provided.

• Prolonged or considerable walking or standing. Able to lift, position or transfer patients. Able to lift supplies
  and equipment. Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling or crouching. Visual acuity and hearing
  to perform required nursing skills.
