Job summary

Right at Home Cedar Rapids is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse to deliver skilled care to veterans and private clients in Cedar Rapids and nearby areas. Travel is required to support excellent patient outcomes and accessible in-home care.

You will provide clinical nursing services, maintain thorough documentation, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care, while enjoying a flexible schedule and opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the community.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Iowa RN license.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (home health/hospice preferred).
• CPR certification required; strong communication and documentation skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled home health care to veterans and private clients.
• Travel to Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas; plan a flexible schedule.
• Document patient care accurately and communicate with physicians and families.

Must Haves for a Home Health RN:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current IA licensure
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (home health/hospice preferred)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Registered Nurse (RN) must possess and maintain current CPR certification
• Registered Nurse (RN) must have knowledge of and have the ability, and the necessary skill and judgment to perform all nursing procedures under the direction of a physician as outlined in the scope of practice in the Iowa State Nurse Practice Act
• Meets the requirements for employees providing direct client care
• Must have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work or access to adequate transportation.
