Interim HealthCare Inc. in Danville, VA is seeking a Home Health Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled, one-on-one care to patients in their homes across Danville and surrounding areas.

This role offers flexible scheduling (Full-Time, Part-Time & PRN) and travel to patient homes, with competitive per-visit pay and mileage reimbursement. As an RN, you will assess patients, develop and update care plans, educate families on medications and safety, and collaborate with physicians and the care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in Virginia.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; home health preferred.
• CPR certification and TB screening.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and auto insurance.
• Willingness to travel throughout service area.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a home setting.
• Complete patient assessments and monitor progress.
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, diet, exercise, and home safety.
• Coordinate care with physicians, LPNs, CNAs, and other healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Identify changes in patient condition and communicate updates to care team.
• Coordinate patient discharge planning and ensure care goals are met.

Pay: $40-$75 per visit depending on visit type + mileage reimbursement

We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Home Health Registered Nurse - RN to provide personalized, one-on‑one patient care throughout Danville, VA and the surrounding areas. This position is ideal for an RN seeking flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while caring for patients in the comfort of their homes.

As a Home Health Registered Nurse - RN, you will provide skilled nursing care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or chronic conditions while collaborating closely with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary care teams. This role requires travel to patient homes throughout the service area.
