Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide skilled home health services in Perry County and surrounding areas. You will implement and document the care plan, educate patients and families, and coordinate with physicians and caregivers to ensure continuity of care.

The role requires an active RN license in the relevant state, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license with proof of auto insurance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of application
• Valid CPR, driver's license and proof of automobile insurance

Responsibilities

• Develop a plan of care through physician orders, client input, and nursing assessment to include medical interventions and measurable goals and outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families based on client needs.
• Orient and train primary caregivers to support optimal functioning for each client.
• Coordinate hands-on care through documentation and timely communication with physicians and other caregivers.
• Provide home-based care using skills such as triage, education, observation/assessment, wound care, infusions, catheter care, PICC line dressing changes.
