Job summary

Elara Caring is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant for a full-time position in Pittsfield, Illinois. The role covers Adams, Schuyler, Brown, and Pike counties, delivering PT services in the patient\'s home with guidance from a PT.

Qualified candidates will have an accredited PTA program, an unrestricted PTA license, and be willing to travel up to 50% within the service area. Benefits include comprehensive insurance and 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work.
• 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred.
• Able and willing to travel 50% within branch/office coverage area.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct physical therapy services per Plan of Care and physician orders.
• Supervising PT; reports changes in status promptly.
• Instructs patients and families in home therapy programs and use of devices.
• Handles lifting and transfer of patients; maintains safety and quality of care.
• Works potentially irregular hours including call hours if applicable.
