Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care, Inc. in Hillsborough, NC is seeking a full-time Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant to provide 1:1 PTA services in patient homes across Caswell, Person, and Orange counties. The role requires NC PTA licensure, a 2-year PTA program, and prior PTA experience under PT supervision.

Qualifications

Current licensure/certification as Physical Therapist Assistant in North Carolina.
Graduate of a two-year PTA program approved by the APTA.
Two years of PTA experience and a satisfactory proficiency exam if required.
At least one year of work under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.

Responsibilities

Provide home health PT services, including treatment, tests, client education and interventions as delegated by a licensed PT.
Perform per-visit home health visits for adult and geriatric patients in the service area.
Adhere to BAYADA protocols and infection prevention guidelines while delivering care.
Collaborate with the care team and participate in ongoing professional development.
