Job summary

Angels Care Home Health in Abilene, TX is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide PT services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. You will implement prescribed interventions and contribute to home-based patient care plans.

The ideal candidate holds a CAPTE-accredited PTA program and an unrestricted PTA license, plus CPR certification and a valid driver’s license. Prior home health experience and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

CAPTE-accredited PTA program completion.
Current unrestricted PTA license or state certification and a valid driver’s license.
Experience per state Board requirements to treat patients at home.
Therapy skills aligned with standard practice (APTA).
Good interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of durable medical equipment.
CPR certification.
Reliable transportation with valid insurance.

Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
Implement selected components of patient interventions and treatments.
Deliver care in patients' homes and document progress.
