Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Texas.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Professional liability insurance coverage.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitation settings preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Clinical PTA experience with strong patient interaction.
• Good interpersonal skills and adaptability to patient personalities.
• Knowledge of current treatment techniques and therapy practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide home-based physical therapy services under a licensed PT supervision.
• Identify patient goals and implement interventions to meet mobility needs.
• Deliver evidence-based, cost-effective treatments to improve movement and independence.
• Promote non-surgical approaches and minimize medications through therapy.
• Develop individualized care plans using proven techniques.
• Create wellness programs tailored to each patient’s condition and goals.
• Educate and motivate patients to participate actively in rehabilitation.
• Document services and maintain accurate patient records.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
