Job summary

Atrinity Home Health, part of LHC Group and within the UnitedHealth Group family, seeks a Physical Therapist Assistant to implement treatment plans and educate patients under a supervising PT in home care settings.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance or access to dependable transportation.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing home care physical therapy and act under the supervising PT’s plan.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility training.
• Observe and report patient response and coordinate care with the health team.
• Educate patients and families on therapy within the PTA scope.
• Provide care in diverse home settings regardless of background.
