Job summary

OhioHealth at Home, in partnership with Compassus, seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to support PTs in therapy sessions focused on patient mobility and recovery. The role leverages AI-supported documentation to capture outcomes efficiently while delivering hands-on care in patients' homes.

You’ll work in a home care setting with a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care, balance documentation load, and participate in a team that values innovation and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Associate Degree from an accredited Assistant school of Physical Therapy.
• 1 year of Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a home care or rehabilitation setting.
• Active and unencumbered Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state(s) of employment required.
• Required within 30 days of hire - National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Support PTs in therapy sessions aimed at patient mobility improvement.
• Use AI tools to assist in documenting therapy outcomes efficiently.
• Focus on meaningful interactions while minimizing documentation distractions.
