Job summary

Corewell Health in Benton Harbor, MI is seeking a Clinical Physical Therapist to provide therapy based on patient needs and medical direction. You will educate patients and caregivers and arrange adaptive equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 6 months of relevant experience preferred.
• LIC-Physical Therapist licensed in Michigan upon hire.
• CRT-BLS certification required (AHA or ARC).

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluation procedures to assess disability level and plan treatment.
• Provide therapy and education to restore function and adjust goals as needed.
• Document evaluations and treatments per standards and reimbursement rules.
• Instruct and train other rehabilitation staff, nursing and students.
• Participate in process improvement and program development activities.
• Demonstrate productivity per department standards and ongoing education.
