Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to provide home health visits across Howard County, Maryland on a full-time, part-time or per diem basis. The PT will conduct assessments, create personalized care plans, and coordinate with nursing staff to promote safe, independent living.

The role requires MD-licensed PTs who can work 8:30a–5p, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for various schedules and benefits typical of BAYADA. Training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• Maryland Physical Therapist license required.
• Graduation from a program approved by the APTA or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform diagnostic tests and measurements of mobility, strength, balance, and safety.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans with manual therapy, gait training and balance interventions.
• Educate clients and family on rehabilitative care to promote health and independence.
• Accurately document observations and interventions using EMR technology.
