Job summary

PARS Therapy in Mesquite, TX is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our home health team. You will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and provide interventions to restore function and reduce pain in patients' homes.

We value patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with physicians, nurses, and therapists. Eligible applicants will hold a Texas PT license, professional liability coverage, and a graduate degree in Physical Therapy;

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Texas.
• Professional liability insurance coverage for PT in Texas.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings is preferred.
• Strong ability to adapt care approaches to patient needs.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility.
• Provide therapeutic interventions including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust plans to achieve outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend fall-prevention strategies.
• Deliver compassionate care while promoting patient independence.
