Job summary

Alumus Healthcare seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in home health settings, following physician prescriptions and evidence-based care. A valid state license is required.

You will collaborate with nurses and physicians, document care plans promptly, and help patients achieve maximum function while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered service. Flexible scheduling and supportive teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved educational program in Physical Therapy.
• Possess a valid state license.
• Must have the ability to interact well with patients, family members, physicians, supervisor and staff

Responsibilities

• Administers treatments and physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability.
• Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
• Participates with all other home care personnel in patient care planning.
