Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physical Therapist Education program approved by CAPTE.
• Current PT license in Alabama and CPR certification.
• Two years of adult PT/home health experience preferred.
• Excellent observation and communication skills, problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Perform PT evaluation and treatment per physician orders, including adaptive equipment.
• Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to maximize independence.
• Maintain communication among treatment team, physician, patient and family.
• Maintain thorough documentation for proper billing.
• Supervise PTAs and PT Aides as required by state act.
