Job summary

Phoenix Home Care is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to provide home health PT services in Independence, MO and surrounding areas. The role offers a pay range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year and includes benefits.

The PTA will work under a licensed PT, perform charting during visits with Roger’s AI-powered support, and contribute to achieving mobility goals and enhanced quality of life for patients.

Qualifications

• MO PTA certification required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Ability to pass drug test, background check, and physical.
• Multi-disciplinary collaboration for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides PT assigned services to patients in the home setting under the supervision of a licensed PT.
• Participates in communication and case conference activities to promote continuity and quality of patient care.
• Exhibits judgement and technical skills to perform treatments per agency protocols.
• Maintains compliance with Agency Code of Ethics and applicable regulations.
• Practices safety and infection control measures.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor.
