Job summary

Aegis Therapies in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for our Home Health team on a PRN basis. You will provide skilled therapy in patients’ homes, delivering compassionate care with independence and flexibility.

Join a patient‑centred team that supports your growth with ongoing training, clinical mentorship, and opportunities to transfer across settings. Qualified candidates hold a PTA license in Missouri (or be eligible) with at least 1 year of healthcare experience;

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in Missouri or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a health care setting; home health preferred.
• Must meet Clinical Competency requirements.
• Ability to travel to patient homes within a designated geographic area.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA services in patients’ homes as part of the home health team.
• Support patients to improve independence and function in their home environment.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient-centered care across visits.
• Maintain a flexible PRN schedule and travel within the service area.

Qualifications:

• Current license as a Physical Therapy Assistant or ability to obtain in the state of practice.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in a health care setting; previous experience in home health, preferred
• Must meet Clinical Competency requirements
• Ability to travel to patient homes within designated geographic area.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
• Current CPR certification
