Job summary

CommonSpirit Health at Home seeks a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join the VNA Home Health team. The PTA helps patients at their homes to regain independence by improving mobility, strength, and overall function, working with the PT, families and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and meet goals.

Qualifications include an accredited PTA program degree, active PTA license, CPR/BLS certification, and at least one year of PTA experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Active PTA license in the practicing state.
• Must obtain and maintain CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum one year PTA experience in a clinical setting.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Comply with federal, state and local laws and regulations.
• Ready to make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients at home to regain independence by improving mobility, strength and function.
• Collaborate with PT, patients, families and other health professionals to deliver patient-centered care.
