Job summary

Prudential Healthcare is seeking a qualified Home Health PTA in California to support patients under a licensed PT. You will lead prescribed exercises, monitor progress, and educate patients and caregivers while maintaining accurate documentation in the EMR.

The role offers flexible scheduling and travel within designated areas. A CA PTA license and at least 1 year of home health experience are preferred. Strong communication and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in CA.
• Minimum of 1 year PTA experience (home health preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines a plus.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

As a Home Health PTA, you'll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement personalized therapy programs. You’ll assist patients with exercises, mobility techniques, and activities to improve their physical strength, mobility, and overall quality of life—all while working independently in the field.
