Job summary

Spokane Valley Assured Home Health, part of the LHC Group and within the Optum family, is hiring a Physical Therapist for home health coverage across Stevens and Pend Oreille counties, including Chewelah, Deer Park, Newport and Colville.

The role requires Washington PT licensure, a valid driver's license, and CPR certification preferred within 90 days. Compensation ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 per year with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of Washington.
• Valid driver's license and vehicle access for travel.
• Preferred CPR certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the patient's functional status and PT needs as part of the plan of care.
• Assists physician in developing the therapy plan of care.
• Provides PT services within scope of practice per state laws.
• Observes patient responses and reports changes to supervisor/physician.
• Treats to relieve pain and restore or maintain function.
• Educates patient and family about plan of care and progress.
• Completes visit notes and progress documentation per policy.
• Reports outcomes and expected frequency of care.
