Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist to deliver in-home evaluation and therapy, tailoring plans to each patient’s needs and home environment. You will work one-on-one with patients in their homes, helping them regain strength and independence for daily activities such as self-care, mobility, and community participation, while balancing work and life with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• BS in Physical Therapy required.
• Current State PT license required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Current CPR, TB test and Hepatitis consent/declination.
• Two years’ PT experience in an acute care or rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one home health PT to patients in their homes.
• Help patients regain strength and independence for daily activities.

As a Home Health Physical Therapist, you have the unique opportunity to make a huge difference in your patients’ lives and see firsthand how your work impacts their ability to live in their home while gaining the strength and independence they need to participate in their desired daily living activities, such as going to church or working in the garden.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
• Current State License as a Physical Therapist
• Valid Driver’s License
• Current CPR, negative TB screen and Hepatitis consent/declination
• Two years’ experience as a Physical Therapist in an acute care or rehabilitation setting

Knowledge and Skills:

• Therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice
• Good interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of durable medical equipment
