Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a Physical Therapist to support Randolph County with full-time daytime hours, primarily delivering in-home care. You will help patients move, improve function, and restore activity in a home setting, with periodic reexaminations and discharge planning as part of the care plan.

The role requires a state PT license, CAPTE-accredited education, CPR certification, and at least one year of home health experience or a mentoring arrangement for newer therapists.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice physical therapy in the state you’re assigned to.
• Graduate from a CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• One year of home health experience preferred; mentoring if less than one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Help patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function.
• Provide interventions, conduct reexaminations every 30 days, modify interventions and perform discharge planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
