Job summary

Addus Family Company seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to provide high-quality home and community-based rehabilitative care. You will implement treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, supporting elderly, chronically ill, and disabled clients to improve mobility, safety, and independence in their homes.

You’ll perform therapeutic exercises, monitor progress, document outcomes, and educate clients and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) credential in New Mexico.
• Experience in home health or community-based rehabilitation is a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapist under supervision to implement treatment plans.
• Perform therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed.
• Monitor patient progress and document outcomes accurately.
• Educate clients and caregivers on exercises and safety in the home.
