Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home care to patients in their natural environments. You will assess, treat, and educate patients to improve strength, mobility, and independence, enabling daily activities such as walking, reaching, and self-care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor or Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current state licensure as a PTA.
• Current CPR certification, TB screen, and Hepatitis consent/declination.
• Minimum one year experience in a home health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home physical therapy services to patients.
• Assess and treat mobility and functional movement in the patient’s home.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and home-program adherence.
