BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking full-time, part-time and per diem Physical Therapists to join our team in our Harrisburg Visits Office. This office services adults and geriatric clients on a per visit basis in Cumberland County.

$20,000 Sign-on Bonus for Full-Time!

$20,000 will be paid out to you throughout your first year of employment.

As a home care Physical Therapist, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, enabling them to remain at home.

Responsibilities for a PT - Physical Therapist include:

1. Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
2. Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, such as mobility/range of joints, transfer status, stability, patterns and appearance of ambulation, muscle strength and endurance, balance testing, and safety assessments.
3. Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
4. Assess and revise the care plan regularly, collaborating with nursing in the multidisciplinary care team.
5. Educate clients, family members, or representatives in rehabilitative care and activities to promote health, safety, and independence.
6. Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.

Qualifications for a PT - Physical Therapist include:

1. Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license.
2. Graduation from an American Physical Therapy Association-approved program or equivalent.
3. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
4. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
5. Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
