Job summary

Nurturing Home Healthcare Agency in Texas is seeking experienced Physical Therapists to provide assessment, evaluation, and therapy for clients under Plan of Care. Candidates must have strong clinical reasoning and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting.

This part-time, contract position covers Houston and surrounding areas. Licensure as a Physical Therapist in Texas and CPR certification are required, with at least one year of licensed PT experience in the past

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in physical therapy from an approved program.
• Current Texas license as a Physical Therapist.
• Minimum of one year of licensed PT experience in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and implement physical therapy needs including Plan of Care and goals.
• Collaborate with clients and families to maximize physical recovery.
• Identify and secure support personnel, supplies and equipment.
• Perform client visits as directed in the Plan of Care.
• Instruct and supervise clients and PT Assistants.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and implement physical therapy needs as appropriate including development of Plan of Care treatments and goals
• Work with client and client's family members to achieve maximum physical recovery
• Identify and secure necessary support personnel, supplies and equipment
• Perform client visits as directed in Plan of Care
• Instruct and supervise clients and other health care personnel including Physical Therapy Assistants

Education / Experience

• Graduate of a Master's or higher degree in physical therapy from an institution approved by the Educational Section of the American Physical Therapy Association
• Currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in state where therapist practices.
• A minimum of one year’s experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist in a supervised setting within the past three (3) years.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Salary: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
