Job summary

Boost Home Healthcare – Greater Boston is seeking a skilled COTA to join our growing home-based care team in Brookline, MA. This role offers flexible scheduling, per-visit compensation, and the opportunity to work directly with a small, dedicated clinical team to support patients in their homes.

We require a Massachusetts COTA license (or OTA license), NBCOT certification or eligibility, ACOTE-accredited program graduate, and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts COTA license in good standing.
• Graduate of ACOTE-accredited OT assistant program.
• NBCOT certification or eligibility.
• 1+ year home health or rehab experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification (Healthcare Provider).
• Reliable transportation and MA driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled occupational therapy interventions in the patient’s home as delegated by the supervising OT and plan of care.
• Assist patients with ADL retraining, functional mobility, adaptive equipment use, and home safety strategies.
• Complete visit documentation accurately and on time in compliance with Medicare, ACHC, and agency policies.
• Communicate patient progress, changes in status, and any clinical concerns to the supervising OT promptly.
• Participate in care coordination with the clinical team as needed.

The Opportunity

What you'll be doing

What we're looking for

• Active Massachusetts COTA license (or OTA license) in good standing
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapist assistant program
• NBCOT certification required (or eligibility)
• 1+ year of home health or outpatient/rehab experience preferred; strong new grads considered
• CPR/BLS certification (Healthcare Provider level)
• Reliable transportation, valid MA driver's license, and current auto insurance
• Available for at least 2–4 visits per week (flexible on timing)

Compensation: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
