MedCare Pediatric in Texas is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in children’s homes, daycares, and schools. The role emphasizes compassionate care, collaboration with a supportive team, and flexible scheduling to balance patient needs with personal life.

You will need to graduate from an accredited PTA program, hold or obtain a Texas PTA license, and ideally have pediatric experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Texas PTA license or eligibility by start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new grads encouraged.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under licensed PT.
• Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, and functional independence.
• Educate and train families on exercises and home programs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to PT.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
