Job summary

MedCare Pediatric is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide one-on-one therapy in childrens' homes, daycares, and schools. Enjoy flexible scheduling with FT, PT, and PRN options and comprehensive support from experienced supervisors.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, creating goals and treatment plans, improving mobility and function, educating caregivers, and coordinating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Texas Physical Therapy license or eligible to obtain licensure before start date.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Provide physical therapy services to improve strength, mobility, balance, coordination, endurance, and functional independence.
• Implement physician-approved plans of care using evidence-based interventions.
• Provide caregiver education and training to support progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
• Supervision of PTAs is a plus but not required.
