Well Care Home Health of the Southern Triangle, Inc. seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to support patients across ages in Apex, North Carolina.

You will deliver prescribed OT treatments and participate in program operations in line with agency guidelines. Responsibilities include administering treatments, documenting progress, and collaborating with staff; you will help schedule and contribute to program effectiveness while maintaining safety and professional conduct.

Formación

• Associate degree from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
• Licensure in the state where providing therapy (NC/SC); CPR certification.
• Experience: Prefer one year.
• Knowledge of home health and occupational therapy procedures; ability to manipulate patient care equipment; proper transferring of patients.
• Ability to deal professionally with the public, co-workers, patients, families, and physicians.
• Requires lifting greater than 50 lbs, transferring patients greater than 100 lbs, and other physical demands.
• Ability to apply rehabilitation principles and develop treatment programs; prioritize duties and learn new skills.
• Vision and communication abilities to perform basic clinical techniques.
• Exposure to hazards typical of clinical settings.
• Hours: 40 hour work weeks; Monday-Friday; weekends/holidays as needed.
• Population served: Adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics.
• Must have valid NC driver's license and operational vehicle.
