PARS Therapy in Hondo, Texas is seeking a Home Health Occupational Therapist to empower patients to regain independence by delivering personalized, in-home care. You will conduct evaluations, design goals, and implement treatment plans in patients’ homes, collaborating with families to support progress and safety.

Qualifications

• Active OT license in Texas (TX) is required.
• Professional liability insurance specific to Texas OT practice.
• Prior home health or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Ability to educate clients and families effectively.
• Strong knowledge of OT treatment methods and evidence‑based practices.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in developing, recovering, and maintaining daily living and work skills.
• Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans under supervision.
• Adapt and apply interventions to improve ADLs and IADLs.
• Educate clients on breaking tasks into steps and using adaptive strategies.
• Recommend and train use of adaptive equipment.
• Assess home environments and suggest modifications.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers, providing guidance.
• Track and report progress toward goals.
• Document care and maintain records.
• Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure progress.
