Job summary

Medical Services of America’s Medi Home Health Agency is seeking an experienced Part-Time/PRN Occupational Therapist to serve patients in Suffolk and surrounding areas in the home health setting.

You will provide skilled OT, restore function, promote independence, and collaborate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes. Virginia OT license and at least 1 year of clinical OT experience (home health preferred) are required, with strong communication and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Virginia.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical OT experience; home health experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled OT services per physician's plan of care.
• Restore daily function and independence through therapeutic interventions.
• Instruct patients and caregivers on daily activity strategies and safe transfers.
• Coordinate care with other health professionals for continuity.
• Document progress and submit records within 24 hours of visits.
• Maintain compliance with agency policies and home health best practices.
