Job summary

Amedisys is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a per diem days role covering adult home health visits in the Dayton area. You will deliver OT services under an approved plan of care and ensure comprehensive assessment-based interventions at patients' homes.

Responsibilities include maintaining documentation, supervising aides when needed, and adhering to regulatory standards. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided where eligible.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state.
• ACOTE-accredited OT program completion.
• NBCOT certification requirement.
• One year related OT experience; mentoring if less.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of OT service delivery under physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems.
• Accountable for safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.
