Job summary

Atrinity Home Health, part of the LHC Group within the Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and address patients’ functional needs in home health settings. You will evaluate ADLs, coordination, home safety, and adaptive equipment as defined by medical conditions.

Role requires state OT licensure, a valid driver's license, and strong communication, organizational, and independence skills to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with the care team.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Good communication, writing and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provides service within the scope of practice for Occupational Therapy in home health.
• Evaluates patient’s functional status and collaborates with physician on the care plan.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment to the nurse supervisor and physician.
• Conducts patient assessments of functional abilities using standardized tests.
• Adapts to diverse home environments ensuring equitable care for all patients.
