Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide home health OT services in the Las Vegas area. You will screen, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries and disabilities using standard OT practices, and educate patients and families while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, documenting appropriately, supervising staff, engaging in continuing education, and supporting program development and marketing

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapist license in states where you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
• Current driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled occupational therapy services, staying updated on standard practices (AOTA).
• Documents and bills promptly and accurately.
• Communicates with patients, families, physicians, and healthcare providers about patient needs and goals.
• Supervises assistants and staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Promotes continuing education opportunities for self and staff.
• Contributes to program development and marketing strategies to grow the OT program.
