Job summary

CommonSpirit Health at Home is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our home health team serving the Denver, Aurora, and Parker areas. The OTA will work with the OT and interdisciplinary staff to plan, implement, and evaluate in-home occupational therapy services for patients.

Responsibilities include home visits, patient and caregiver education, monitoring patient progress, and timely documentation.

Qualifications

• Associates of applied science (AAS) in OTA or related field.
• Active registered OTA license in the state of practice.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• One year OTA experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance as per policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT visits as prescribed in the plan of treatment.
• Provide patient and caregiver education.
• Monitor patient status and report changes to the OT/physician.
• Complete and submit required documentation accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with OT and interdisciplinary team to plan and evaluate home health services.
