BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking full-time, part-time, and per diem Occupational Therapists to join our team in our Harrisburg Visits Office. This office services adults and geriatric clients on a per-visit basis in:

Enola, Marysville, Duncannon, Newport, and surrounding areas!

As a home care Occupational Therapist, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary healthcare team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, enabling them to remain at home.

Occupational Therapist, OT Responsibilities:

• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform evaluations of patients' functional status, including muscle function, endurance, visual coordination, communication skills, and ADL/IADL performance.
• Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor aspects, developing individualized intervention plans.
• Evaluate home environments for hazards or barriers.
• Identify equipment needs and environmental adaptations.
• Assess and revise the occupational therapy care plan, collaborating with nursing as appropriate.
• Educate patients, families, or representatives on rehabilitative care and activities.
• Document observations, interventions, and evaluations accurately using electronic devices.

Occupational Therapist, OT Qualifications:

• Current PA Occupational Therapist license.
• Prior home care experience preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one year of recent work experience as an Occupational Therapist.
• Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills; EMR experience preferred.
