Care Options for Kids is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to oversee clinical delivery in home health services. The role involves supervising nurses and aides, reviewing medical records, and ensuring care plans are followed, while coordinating with the Director of Nursing.

Qualifications

• RN in good standing with public health nursing experience
• Experience in home health care or equivalent
• Knowledge of pediatric care (trach, vent, g-tube) and related settings
• Strong communication and leadership capabilities

Responsibilities

• Supervise nurses and home health aides daily to ensure plan-of-care quality.
• Review clinical content, diagnoses, and medical history from client records.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide coaching for professional development.
• Assess client needs and home care appropriateness via intake forms.
• Orient new clinical staff to policies and procedures.
• Conduct client visits as needed in appropriate settings.
• Lead in-home supervisory visits of clinical staff.
• Handle on-call duties after hours.
• Maintain confidentiality of records within scope.
• Participate in functions in absence of Director of Nursing.
• Collaborate with EMR to keep client charts compliant.
• Educate peers and field staff through trainer sessions.
• Provide coaching for new staff on EMR use.
• Prepare course of study and lesson plans for training.
• Plan and supervise classroom training on best practices and laws.
