• Provide direct patient care within the scope of the California Nurse Practice Act and under RN supervision.
• Implement the plan of care established by the RN.
• Document patient care accurately and timely per plan of care.
• Educate patients and caregivers about diagnoses and care.
• Assist with specialized procedures and prepare equipment as directed.
• Follow aseptic technique when required.
• Assist patients to learn appropriate self-care techniques.
• Communicate patient needs identified during visits.
