Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare in Pell City, AL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a full-time role. You will provide and document skilled nursing care per care plans and physician orders, while upholding confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Schedule: Monday through Friday. Territory includes St. Clair, Talladega, Coosa and part of Shelby County. You will collaborate with the physician team, maintain records, coordinate total client care, and communicate respectfully with clients and families.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the state of application.
• Provide skilled nursing and document care per the care plan.
• Maintain clinical records according to policy and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing including treatments and preventative measures (wound care, infusion, catheter care, PICC line dressing changes).
• Maintain clinical record documentation per policy and regulations.
• Coordinate and support total client care.
• Consult with attending physician team regarding changes to the plan of care.
• Communicate with clients, family, and team respectfully.
• Obtain medical history and keep records up to date.

Position Overview
The

The Licensed Practical Nurse Full Time is an essential part of the team responsible for providing and documenting skilled nursing care in accordance with the developed care plan and physicians’ orders for each individual patient while adhering to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times.

Schedule: Full Time Monday - Friday

Territory: St. Clair, Talladega, Coosa and a small portion of Shelby County

Essential Job Functions

• Provide skilled nursing including treatments and preventative measures such as: wound care, infusion, catheter care, PICC line dressing changes, etc.
• Maintain clinical record documentation according to company policy, procedures and state/federal regulations.
• Coordinate and support total client care.
• Consult with attending physician team regarding alternation of the plan of care.
• Verbally communicate with clients, family members, and team members in a respectful manner.
• Obtain medical history of clients and keep records up to date.
