Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years' experience in home healthcare preferred.
• 1+ years' experience with insurance payors, portals & guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service to external and internal stakeholders.
• Verify insurance information and obtain ongoing authorizations as needed.
• Request authorizations for in-home services and coordinate with payor contacts.
• Communicate with branch personnel to gather clinical information for authorization.
• Verify coverage, benefits, and patient financial responsibility at start of care and recertification.
