Highland Park Senior Care in Longview, TX is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our home health team on a PRN basis. You will provide occupational therapy services in patients' homes under the supervision of a licensed OT.

The role emphasizes communication with patients and families, progress evaluation, and accurate records, with independence and teamwork as core strengths.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Valid CPR certification.
• Previous experience in home health or a similar setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their homes under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and therapeutic exercises.
• Evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
